    Property terms and conditions

    1. The Property is being sold by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. “tale quale” and without the warranty for latent defects; it is being sold without any guarantee or assurance on the part of the Bank that it is covered by valid permits from the Planning, Sanitary or other authorities, and is open to all eligible purchasers.

    2. Purchaser/s are encouraged to view the property before submitting their offer. For inspection of the properties, prospective buyers can contact Administration Department on Tel No 79972275/99226486.

    3. No offer will be considered unless:-
    (a) It is submitted in electronic format directly from https://www.bov.com/bov-properties with the corresponding property reference recorded thereon;
    (b) Identification details of the prospective Purchaser/s is provided on the form;
    (c) It is completed in full on the prescribed form.

    4. The Bank reserves the right to withdraw any property currently listed for sale at any given time provided this takes place before the signing of the promise of sale agreement.

    5. The present ‘Purchase of Property Offer Form’ does not constitute a promise of sale agreement.

    6. The successful purchaser will be notified in writing that his Tender has been accepted and will be required to enter into a promise of sale agreement within eight (8) weeks from the said notification subject to the conclusion of a satisfactory due diligence exercise. Failure to pass through a satisfactory due diligence test will result in the purchaser forfeiting his right to purchase the said property. A promise of sale between the successful purchasers and the Bank should not be longer than six (6) months.

    7. Any refused offers shall be notified by email.

    8. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, without giving any reasons and to this effect any prospective purchaser and/or agent, whose offer was turned down, cannot proceed with legal proceedings against the Bank before the Maltese Courts and/or Tribunals seeking to threaten to restrain or prohibit the sale of a property subject to a Property Form.

    9. Other offers shall remain valid for ninety (90) days after date of submission.

    10. Any direct or indirect effort by a potential customer/s to influence the Bank in its decisions may result in the rejection of that offer.

    11. If any representation made or deemed to be made or repeated by the Purchaser is or proves to have been incorrect in any material respect, the Bank will not give any consideration to the offer made by such Purchaser. In this respect, the Bank is fully entitled to conduct any due diligence checks on the Purchaser and additional information/documentation may be requested for this purpose.

    12. Offers presented by means of the Property Form and not honoured by the purchaser and/or estate agent may serve as a basis and a valid factor when considering future offers by the same aforementioned purchaser and/or estate agent.

    13. Present terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with Maltese Law.

    14. Prospective buyers are informed that once their offer is accepted, they shall have to purchase said property in their own name and any rights acquired by them through the sales process cannot be assigned to third parties on final deed of transfer from the Bank.
